William Shakespeare – The Merchant of Venice

Not quite sure what to make out of this one….

“All things that are,
Are with more spirit chased than enjoy’d” (Shakespeare, 1984, p.51).

“The quality of mercy is not strain’d
It droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven
Upon the place beneath. It is twice blest,
It blessenth him that gives, and him that takes” (Shakespeare, 1984, p.88).

“Though Justice be thy plea, consider this,
That in the course of Justice, none of us
Should see salvation” (Shakespeare, 1984, p.89).
